Sophia Popov has one LPGA Tour victory and a major win at the 2020 AIG Women’s British Open, where she triumphed as a non-member. In 2021, she had a standout season, earning three top-10 finishes, including a runner-up finish at the Bank of Hope LPGA Match-Play, and represented Germany in the Tokyo Olympics. A member of the European Solheim Cup team in 2021, Popov’s career also includes performances on the Epson Tour, where she earned her LPGA membership in 2019 after securing her first victory.

This will be her second appearance at HSBC Women’s World Championship.
