Mao Saigo is the 2024 Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year, earning LPGA Tour membership after finishing T2 at the 2023 Q-Series. Before joining the LPGA, Saigo played on the JLPGA Tour, where she earned six wins, including five in 2022 and the 2023 Ito En Ladies Golf Tournament. Known for her consistency, she has competed in every major championship since 2022, highlighted by a T3 finish at the 2022 Amundi Evian Championship.

This will be her first appearance at HSBC Women’s World Championship.
