Kupcho finished second at the inaugural LPGA Q-Series to earn Priority List Category 14 status for the 2019 season; competed as an amateur and turned professional in May of 2019. In 2019, she earned a career-best LPGA Tour finish at the Evian Championship, where she finished T2, two shots behind winner Jin Young Ko.
Kupcho set a 54-hole record in the 2022 Chevron Championship tournament in having a 16-under-par total (200) with her eight-under-par 64 in the third round. She beat the previous total by two strokes. She won the tournament by two strokes over Jessica Korda.
This is her third appearance at HSBC Women’s World Championship.
