In Gee Chun started playing golf at the age of 9 and credits her father for having the most influence on her career. In 2018, Chun won her third LPGA Tour title at LPGA KEB Hana Bank Championshop in her home country of Korea, one of four top-10 finishes in 2018. She is a three-time major champion, having won the 2015 U.S. Women’s Open, the 2016 Evian Championship with a score of 21 under par, which is the lowest winning score in a major tournament for either men or women, and the 2022 Women’s PGA Championship.
This will be Chun’s seventh appearance at the HSBC Women’s World Championship.
