Hye-Jin Choi is a South-Korean born golfer and in 2015 she was the individual winner of the World Junior Girls Championship, and a year later she recorded the same feat in the World Amateur Team Championship. Both times she led Korea to the team titles. She won the former title in Canada, and proved a further liking for that nation in July 2016 when she won the Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship by four shots.
In 2019, she won five events and was LPGA of Korea Tour leading money winner. Choi earned her card for the 2022 LPGA Tour through qualifying school.
This will be Hye-Jin Choi’s third appearance at the HSBC Women’s World Championship.
