Hinako Shibuno has one LPGA Tour victory and a major win at the 2019 AIG Women’s British Open, where she captured the victory as a non-member. Shibuno joined the LPGA as a rookie in 2022 and has since earned 8 career top-to finishes. In 2024, Shibuno earned a solo second place finish at the U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally. Prior to joining the LPGA, Shibuno earned six times on the JLPGA and was the 2019 JLPGA Player of the Year.
This will be her fourth appearance at HSBC Women’s World Championship.
