Szokol spent first two years of collegiate career at Northwestern University, before transferring to the University of Virginia. In 2018, she finished fourth on the Epson Tour Official Money List to earn membership for the 2019 LPGA Tour season. Szokol recorded her maiden win at the 2023 Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational
