Boutier started playing golf at the age of seven and standout at Duke University, winning a national title and WGCA Player of the Year honors in 2014. She finished T44 at the 2016 LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn Priority List Category 17 status for the 2017 season. In 2019, Boutier became a Rolex First-Time Winner in her 2019 season debut at the ISPS Handa Vic Open. In 2021, she won ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer.
In 2023, she recorded eight top-10 finishes, including wins at the LPGA Drive On Championship, The Amundi Evian Championship, FREED GROUP Women’s Scottish Open and Maybank Championship
