In 2020, she won the 2020 U.S. Women’s Open to become the fifth player in a championship history to win in her debut and the third individual in the last seven years to win in her major championship debut, joining Hyo Joo Kim at the 2014 Amundi Evian Championship and Hinako Shibuno at the 2019 AIG Women’s Open.

This will be her fourth appearance at HSBC Women’s World Championship.
