Singapore’s only ladies golf event returns for it’s remarkable 10th edition! The HSBC Women’s Champions will once again be providing spectators with 4 days of first class action on course and a feast of entertainment off it. Excitingly Fans will get to witness the best in the world on course including defending champion Ha Na Jang with the world’s top-ten ranked female golfers.
For the first time, the HSBC Women’s Champion will be played on the New Tanjong Course, Sentosa Golf Club. The challenge will be spearheaded by world no. 1 Lydia Ko of New Zealand; world no. 2 Ariya Jutanugarn of Thailand; and world no. 3 – and 2016 Rookie of the Year – In Gee Chun of South Korea. The trio will lead a star-studded cast of 63 players in what is set to be one of the most competitive fields of the LPGA Tour’s 2017 schedule.
The 10th edition of the US$ 1.5 million event promises first-class sporting action on the fairways, together with four days of fun-filled entertainment off course. So whether you’re a single handicapper, concert lover or a first time event goer, the HSBC Women’s Champions has something for you!
The Festival Village
Popular Korean actor-singer, Lee Joon Gi, will be the headlining act at the four-day Festival of Golf and Music, part of the 10th HSBC Women’s Champions, which will take place at the Sentosa Golf Club from 2-5 March 2017. Other acts joining him at the music festival on 4 March 2017 would include local favourites Gentle Bones, Jack and Rai, DJ Bounce Squad and a harmonising trio from the USA, Thirdstory.

GOLF ETIQUETTE: Golf is a game of etiquette for players and spectators alike so there are some important rules to remember when following the action during the tournament.
CAMERAS: No cameras or video equipment are to be used when a professional is in the act of playing her shot. Flashes are an annoyance to players, TV and other spectators Please ensure that your mobile phones are switched to silent while following play. When using your camera please do so away from the golf action.
OBEY THE MARSHALS: They are there to ensure the event runs smoothly for everyone involved so please follow their instructions for everyone to have a good time.
STAND STILL AND KEEP QUIET DURING PLAY: The slightest movement or distraction can affect the players’ concentration so help them play their best by remaining still when they’re taking a shot. You can celebrate a good shot but please refrain from making noise as they prepare and take their shot.
NO AUTOGRAPHS DURING PLAY: The players are very friendly but please don’t disturb them during play. Join and meet all players outside the score recording area after play for autographs and #selfies.
STAY BEHIND THE ROPES: The boundaries help everyone get a good view of the action without affecting play. Stay off the fairways and greens unless directed by a marshal at a crossing point.
BE RESPECTFUL TO ALL: Let’s follow the players’ example of good sportsmanship. Whether they are your favourite or not, all the players deserve respect and encouragement.
