Sheshan Golf Club

In this rollercoaster year, inviting a highly anticipated world event in this season of return sounds too good to be true. Nonetheless, the long awaited annual World Golf Championship – HSBC (WGC-HSCB) is just round the corner.

Sheshan International Golf Club has witnessed WGC-HSBC since its birth 13 years ago. We have witnessed many historic moments; and experienced the creation of honor and realization of dreams. This has become a major part of us – giving us the confidence as a renowned golf club. However, we know more than to be complacent; we remain humble. We will regard this honor as pressure and motivation, and strive to build the perfect arena for the world’s best players to compete for the coveted championship. We also aim to provide the best service and experience for our valued members, guests, members of the organizing committee, media and audience from all over the world.

Once again, allow me to express my gratitude to HSBC, IMG, International Federation of PGA Tours, China Golf Association and Members of Sheshan International Golf Club. It is your continuous efforts and support that aided Sheshan Golf in achieving the glory of hosting this world championship. We sincerely thank the government of Shanghai and Songjiang District, the officials and volunteers for their strong support provided. This event would not be possible without you all. Lastly, I would like to thank our staffs of the club. All of you played an important role in the development of Sheshan Golf. With these people giving their strongest support, working both on the frontlines and behind the scenes, we will achieve every milestone and continue pushing China’s Golf further into international golfing arena.
