Phil Mickelson is a five-time major champion and 51-time winner worldwide. The 49-year-old American turned professional in 1992 after winning a PGA Tour event, the Northern Telecom Open as an amateur. He won his first major championship at the 2004 Masters after holing an 18-foot putt on the final hole. He has gone one to win two further Masters Jackets, a PGA Championship and an Open Championship.
This year, Phil is enjoying a good season on Tour, capturing the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am title and two further top-10 finishes.
Phil will be making his sixth appearance at the WGC-HSBC Champions where he will be looking to repeat his performances of 2009 where he claimed victory.
