In 2007, as an amateur, Feng tied for ninth at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn exempt status for the 2008 LPGA season and then turned professional immediately following the final round.
In 2008, she recorded a career-best runner-up finish at the Bell Micro LPGA Classic. She also carded a career-low 63 in the final round of the LPGA State Farm Classic, where she tied for fourth Her season also included a number of top-10 finishes. They were a tie for fourth at both the Navistar LPGA Classic Presented by MaxxForce and the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic Presented by Kroger, as well as a sixth-place finish at the inaugural Grand China Air LPGA.
In 2009, Feng’s best finish was a tie for 20th at the Michelob ULTRA Open at Kingsmil.
In 2010, Feng featured in the top-10 on four different occasions. They include her best which was a tie for fourth at the LPGA State Farm Classic she also tied for sixth at the Kia Classic Presented by J Golf; finished seventh at the CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge and tied for 10th at the Bell Micro LPGA Classic.
In 2011 Feng finished tied for eighth at the LPGA State Farm Classic; tied for 9th at the Avnet LPGA Classic; tied for 13th at the RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup; tied for 29th at the Kia Classic; tied for 30th at the Ricoh Women's British Open; tied for 30th at the HSBC Women's Champions; tied for 38th at the Honda LPGA Thailand.
2012 was a stellar year for Feng. She claimed her first Major title The Wegmans LPGA Championship and recorded 8 top ten finishes. She also made 18 out of 19 cuts ensuring this was her most successful year to date.
