Vicky turned professional in March 2008 and joined the Duramed FUTURES Tour, where she won five events and recorded five additional top-10 finishes; named Duramed FUTURES Tour Rookie and Player of the Year; set a Duramed FUTURES Tour record for most single-season earnings ($93,107), securing Priority List Category 9 for the 2009 LPGA season.
In 2009, Hurst recorded a career-best tie for fifth at the LPGA Corning Classic, where she carded a career-low 63 in the third round; she tied for eighth at the CN Canadian Women's Open; recorded her second career hole-in-one as a professional during the opening round of the Hana Bank - KOLON Championship, where she tied for 15th; and finished the season first in driving average (272.5).
In 2010, Hurst was 2 strokes off winning her first LPGA victory at the LPGA Hana Bank Championship Presented by SK telecom when she was narrowly defeated by Korean Na Yeon Choi. Her only other top 10 finish of the year was at the HSBC Women's Champions where she finished tied for seventh.
Best finish was a tie for fifth at the Safeway Classic Presented by Coca-Cola competed on her first U.S. Solheim Cup Team as a captain's pick with a 1-1-0 record.
Hurst recorded 3 top 10 finishes during the 2012 LPGA season with her best finish coming at the Sybase Match Play Championship where she came 4th.
