In 2010, Kerr won the LPGA Championship Presented by Wegmans and the rain-delayed LPGA State Farm Classic; tied for third at the Navistar LPGA Classic Presented by Monaco RV; finished tied for fourth at the season-opening Honda PTT LPGA Thailand and earned runner-up honours at the HSBC Women's Champions and tied for 2nd at the Safeway Classic Presented by CocaCola.
In 2009, Kerr qualified for her fifth U.S. Solheim Cup Team, posting a 2-1-1 record for her winning squad; won the Michelob ULTRA Open at Kingsmill, the 12th victory of her career; tied for second at the Kraft Nabisco Championship; tied for third at the U.S. Women's Open, where she crossed the $1 million in season earnings for the sixth consecutive year, the Evian Masters Presented by Societe Generale, where she crossed the $10 million mark in career earnings, and at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational Presented by Banamex and Corona Light; finished fifth at both the MasterCard Classic Honoring Alejo Peralta Presented by Nextel and the Corona Championship; crossed the $9 million mark in career earnings at the NSBC Women's Champions, where she tied for 11th.
