In 2008, best finish was a tie for second at the Sybase Classic Presented by ShopRite; also tied for sixth at the Safeway Classic Presented by Pepsi and tied for 10th at the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic Presented by Kroger.
In 2009, played a limited schedule due to the birth of daughter Sophie Lauren; won the RICOH Women's British Open - the first Scot to win the major championship; carded back-to-back eagles during the second round on the par-5, 11th hole and par-3, 12th hole, her third LPGA career hole-in-one; qualified for her fifth European Solheim Cup Team; won the HSBC LPGA Brasil Cup 2009, an unofficial event; tied for eighth at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational Presented by Banamex and Corona Light; tied for ninth at the CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge; finished second on the Ladies European Tour (LET) season-ending Order of Merit.
Matthew's best finishes in 2010 came when she tied for fifth at the Sybase Match Play Championship and also tied for 6th at the Kia Classic Presented by JGolf.
In 2011 Catriona earned her fourth-career LPGA victory at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational. Her best result in 2012 came at the LPGA KEB HanaBank Championship, where she finished runner up. She also managed to record 7 top 10 finishes during 2012.
