Chie Arimura

Japanese star Chie Arimura is an up and coming professional playing on the JLPGA. Since turning pro in 2006 she has amassed 6 wins on the tour including a great victory at the Stanley Ladies finishing on -12, 4 shots ahead of Yuko Saitoh.
Arimura had a fantastic 2009 season with 5 wins on the tour, at the Elleair Ladies Open Arimura matched a Japan LPGA record with a 10-under 62 to take a four-shot lead on the second day. She continued her momentum on Sunday with 5 under 67 for bogey free 20 under victory.

Arimura finished third on the Japan LPGA Tour money list last year after winning five events to become fully exempt for the U.S. Women's Open. She also won the tour抯 Studio Alice Ladies Open this year. Chie played in a number of LPGA events in 2010 and finished ninth at the 2010 Kraft Nabisco Championship. Arimura will be hoping to announce herself on the world stage with victory at this year's tournament.
