His first PGA victory came later in 2007 at the Wyndham Championship, finishing on 22 under-par and this propelled Snedeker to a world ranking of 55th. In 2008, Snedeker recorded his first top-ten finish at The Masters, finishing T-3. He had gone into the final round in second place, just two shots behind the leader Trevor Immelman. Snedeker followed up this impressive performance at The US Open of that year, once again finishing inside the top-ten at T-9.
Snedeker had to wait until April 2011 for his second PGA victory at The Heritage after coming through a play-off with Luke Donald. Snedeker recovered from six shots back on the final day to shoot a 64 to earn a play off. Snedeker sealed the win on the third play-off hole after both players parred the previous two holes. This win elevated Snedeker to 38th in the world rankings.
In 2012 Snedeker won his third PGA Tour title at the Farmers Insurance Open. He started the day seven shots behind the leader Kyle Stanley, but after firing a final round 67 he was the leader in the clubhouse resulting in a playoff against Stanley. After both players made birdie on the first extra hole, Snedeker prevailed with an up-and-down for par on the second hole after Stanley missed his par putt. Snedeker entered the top 20 in the Official World Golf Ranking after his win.
