For those who have tickets for the HSBC Champions 2009 event, there will be a variety of transport options available to those travelling to the tournament at the Sheshan International Golf Club:

Pudong International Airport to Sheshan International Golf Club: 1 hour 15 minutes
Hongqiao area to Sheshan International Golf Club: 30–40 minutes
Puxi (downtown area) centre: 1 hour

A free public car park will be available.

NOTE: Spectators travelling by taxi will not be allowed on Lin Ying Road and will be directed to the public car park to take the shuttle to the golf club's main gates.

Parking inside the course is strictly limited to special numbered pass holders.

Shanghai Transrapid Maglev Line:

The 30 kilometres from Pudong International Airport to Longyang Road Metro Station on the Shanghai Transrapid Maglev Line takes only eight minutes.

It is the world's first commercial magnetic levitation line. It operates every day from 8:30am to 17:30pm and trains run every 20 minutes.

The round trip ticket costs Rmb80 and the one-way ticket costs Rmb50. Passengers with current day flight tickets can buy one-way tickets on the Maglev Train at a 20% discount.
